Thomas J. McCusker
Thomas J. McCusker joined Gettman & Mills LLP as a partner on October 1, 2010, bringing with him more than 40 years of legal experience in commercial transactions, corporate governance, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
McCusker began his career in New York at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, then moved to Omaha where he served as a partner with Kutak Rock from 1974-1990. In 1990, McCusker joined Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company as an executive vice president, and was later promoted to executive vice president and general counsel. Most recently, McCusker served as executive vice president for Business Conduct and general counsel of Infogroup Inc.
McCusker earned both his bachelor's and law degrees with honors from the University of Notre Dame. He was first in his law school class.
Throughout his career, McCusker has counseled and guided businesses through complex commercial transactions. McCusker leads the commercial transaction practice at Gettman & Mills LLP.
